About Rebecca Harrison
I've been walking and boarding dogs since 2019, but officially started Fur Baby Dog Walking in April 2024 in loving memory of my sister, Kim, who was a huge lover of all animals. I'm dedicated to providing only the best care for your fur baby and understand the importance of trust, knowledge and safety in the industry. FBDW is fully insured and am certified from the Toronto Human Society in Dog Behaviour and Safety.
When I'm not walking dogs for the Distillery District community, you can find me at The Shangri-La Hotel Toronto as a lead dog walker and boarder.
My Story
After working corporate for the past two decades and the passing of my sister, I realized life is precious and it was time to make a change and do something I was really passionate about. With being a dog parent in the past, current pet owner of a bearded dragon, and pet sitting for friends and family, I decided to follow my passion for animals and pursue dog walking and pet sitting full time. Making the big leap to fulfil my love for animals full time, was the scariest but best decision I've ever made! My passion for animals has driven me to create a safe and comfortable environment for all pets in my care.
Dog Walking
I offer a wide range of services to meet the unique needs of each pet and their owner. I provide personalized care plans to ensure that your pet gets the attention and love they deserve and need. I like to start with a FREE meet and greet to ensure that Fur Baby Dog Walking is indeed, the right fit for you and all your pets needs.
FBDW also does a daily donation walk from 6pm to 6:45pm. For a minimum donation of $25, I provide your dog with a 45 minute walk and I put the money towards Care Packages that I create and leave around the area for folks experiencing homelessness.
The Salty Paw Spa
Hello everyone! My name is Courtney and I'm over the moon to be working with Rebecca and Fur baby Dog walking. I'm an animal lover of all kinds since childhood and am a Fur Mama of 5 amazing Dogs, 1 purrrrrty cat, 3 lizards and 4 snakes! I pretty much could run a small petting zoo out of my home!!!
Like Rebecca, I've worked corporate and retail jobs for decades and needed a change in career that brought me more joy and happiness. Deciding to follow my passion and dreams was the best decision I could make for myself and I couldn't be happier!
I've been grooming professionally since 2017 and it's been a very fun journey, I have a special place in my heart when it comes to grooming senior dogs because I understand they need a bit of tender love and care. I'm also experienced in breed clips and working with dogs that have fear base aggression.
I'm excited to be part of the FBDW family and can't wait to meet you all!
